I’m Satisfied with Jesus | August 2020

According to HelpGuide.org, grief is a natural response to loss. Experiencing loss can leave feelings of emptiness, fear, loneliness, and can even cause bouts of anxiety and depression. There are no right or wrong ways to grieve, but there are healthy ways to deal with the grieving process.

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When allowing ourselves to grieve, it’s good to know that God has already satisfied and fulfilled the desires, expectations, needs, and demands of our weary souls. God has put an end to all of our wants, desires, and needs through sufficient provision in every area of our lives.

To be weary means to be faint, famished, and parched. When we are faint, we cannot see clearly and our light does not shine as bright. When we are famished and parched, we become hungry, thirsty, and we lose our strength.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭5:14-16

No matter how big or small, God has restored, replenished, and satisfied every every part of our lives that we are grieving and mourning a loss; relationally, professionally, financially, physically, mentally, and/or emotionally.
