All Things Work Together for the Good

Whether you voted red, blue, or green, it's important to remember a few things. All leadership is ordained by God and we should be obedient to those in position of authority because there is no power but of God. Our elected officials have been appointed, determined, established, and their positioning at this very moment in time has been prearranged by God. (Romans 13:1)

When we act against or oppose the authority and their right to control or govern we are acting against or opposing the characteristic attitude of God, the very spirit of God, and His predominant and prevailing tendencies. When we act against or oppose the authority and their right to govern, we are acting against the established structured pattern of God and His institution. When we act against or oppose the authority and their right to govern, we are acting against and opposing the principles of God. (Romans 13:2)

Leaders and government officials are not cause of intense fear or anxiety to those who do good moral deeds, but to those who do wrong and attempt to pervert that which is good. (Romans 13:3)

In essence, do that which is good and “whatsoever you do, do it as unto the Lord and not man.” (Colossians 3:23)

God has a purpose and plan for our lives no matter who’s in charge. It is God who causes all things to work together for our good. Be confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬)
